The Think About Rust is a survey and blueprint tool. It asks Rust players what old Rust should feel like, then turns those answers into a server design that real people actually want.
Every "old-school Rust" server reads like one person's opinion of what old Rust was. Most don't agree with each other. None of them ask the players first.
This project is the opposite of that. Instead of guessing, we ask the community a structured set of questions about progression, combat, raiding, the wipe cadence — everything that defines how a server feels — and we publish the results.
About 8 minutes for the full thing — but you can skip any question and stop at any time. Every answer auto-saves the moment you make it.
Responses are grouped per question and per section so we can see where players actually agree.
The result is a public document showing what the community wants the next old-school Rust server to be.
